FAQ's
What is Yin Yoga and its benefits?
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, passive practice where poses are held for an extended period of time (3-5 mins or sometimes longer) with the support of props. The longer holds allow time and gravity to open our fascia tissue, harmonise the energy flow along the meridians / energy channels to support better bodily functioning. It also cultivates body-mind connection as being in stillness allows us to explore our physical and emotional sensations and in turns learn more about ourselves. Finally, this is a really nourishing, recuperating practice which will bring our body and mind to deep relaxation.
What is Myofascial Release and its benefits?
Myofascial Release (MFR) is a hands-on therapeutic technique for relieving tension, tightness or pain, and improving reduced mobility caused by trauma, injury, poor postures, or stress on the connective tissues (‘fascia’) around our muscles and organs. It targets the deeper layers of the fascia and muscles and is known for its ability to address both acute and chronic pain. There is a wide range of benefits of MFR such as pain relief, postures and range of motion improvement, muscle tension release, recovery aid, and manage common ailments such as carpal tunnel syndromes, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbows, lower back pain, etc.
